Hajodae Scenic Point (하조대)

The rocky coastline along Hyeonbuk-myeon in Yangyang called Hajodae is one of the Eight Sights of Yangyang. The coastline boasts unique rock formations and rocky islets, creating a unique scenery along with the nearby pine forest. The name Hajodae originated from the surnames of Ha Ryun and Jo Jun, two late Goryeo-era officials who plotted to overthrow the dynasty and would eventually become one of the founding officials of Joseon.
